Black Mountain

(Black Mountain trail has a gorgeous overlook. To hike the whole trail is rigorous. You can drive straight up to the overlook and hike the trails near the overlook. If you drive up the mountain to the overlook, the road is a single lane service road and cars are going both up and down. Just wanted to make sure I let you know!)

Cummins Falls State Park

If you are looking for a fun adventure, my favorite hike and outdoor activity is to go to Cummins Falls State Park in Cookeville, TN (1 hour from Fairfield Glade). There is a short hike down to the water where you will have to hike through some knee deep water to get to a beautiful waterfall. People swim in the waterfall and it is an amazing experience. Highly recommend sneakers or water shoes, the rocks are sharp and painful on bare feet. https://tnstateparks.com/parks/cummins-falls
